Learn first-hand how to craft the perfect cocktail!
At this interactive cocktail class, members will learn the basics of mixology and then, with an arsenal of ingredients, will create their own craft cocktails (for themselves or a friend!) all with the guidance of mixologist Scott Sampila, the Lead Bartender/Bar Manager @ Olio Cucina!
The afternoon will start with in introduction of base spirits, and formulas for making classic cocktails, and will progress into an interactive afternoon of fun experimentation all in a private 3rd floor bar room. ESB will provide appetizers to enjoy during the event.
Scott has been behind the bar at Olio Pizzeria & Crudo Bar since early 2015 and creates a seasonal craft cocktail menu for all three restaurants, including Olio e Limone. For seven years prior, he was the resident mixologist and general manager of the popular Santa Barbara lounge The Marquee. He has also bartended at local clubs including Savoy and Blind Tiger, and got his start at the legendary Los Angeles watering hole Boardners. A spirits educator, he conducts a monthly seminar for up and coming bartenders through SB Mixology.
